St. James says, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26) LFML is an organization for children who have received Holy Communion, who wish to undertake the missionary work of Jesus Christ. Mission League was started in India, specifically in Kerala at Bharananganam in 1947.
Aims:
Fostering the mission spirit and assisting the missionaries by means of Prayer, Man, Money, Vocation, Promotion, and Personality Development.
Motto:
Love, Renunciation, Service, and Endurance. The Heavenly patron for Mission League is St Theresa of Lisieux and the co-patrons are St Francis Xavier, St. Thomas the Apostle and St. Alphonsa. Little Flower Mission League(LFML)at St Thomas Syromalabar Catholic Church San Antonio is an effort to develop a strong interactive body of children who are thriving with Faith in Christ, His Love, and striving to extend their faith through prayer, service, and mission activities to those around them for the creation of a better community. LFML activities include religious presentations, video presentations of the life history of Saints, Mission Sunday activities, various service projects in the surrounding communities for those who are in need, participation in Feasts, and other Church celebrations and field trips.
